On March 11 at 3 PM at Marsh Chapel of BU, Incendium Novum member Yi-Li Chang, will be performing with gambist Jane Hershey and theorbist Hideki Yamaya will perform "Viola da Gamba Journeys, from France, England to America", featuring works for viola da gamba and theorbo by Marin Marais, Sainte-Colombe, Matthew Locke, John Joubert and Richard Cornell. Yi-Li Chang is a gambist, violinist and harpsichordist, has been recognized by Boston Musical Intelligencer as a gambist and violinist with “virtuosic solo ability, and blended as necessary, adding a rich warmth to the group's sound”. She has performed solo and chamber viola da gamba recitals in many well-known concert halls, and toured in the U.S. with various groups. Yi-Li will be collaborating with the gamba faculty of Longy School of Music of Bard College, Jane Hershey, and theorbist Hideki Yamaya. Suggested donation $15 per person/$25 per family

Please join in the Hancock Concert Series concert, “Violin and Piano Music from France to America” with the violinist Yi-Li Chang and the pianist, Laurence Wallach. Yi-Li Chang has been recognized by Boston Musical Intelligencer as a violinist with “confident virtuosity, deliver with fluid and engrossing flair”, she is collaborating with the piano and composition faculty of Bard College at Simon’s Rock, Dr. Laurence Wallach, bringing music for violin and piano by Fauré, Ravel, Debussy and Ives from the late 19th and early 20th in France and America to people.

Cantatas, Sonatas, and solo work by Barbara Strozzi, Isabella Leonarda, and Elisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre. Heidi Freimanis-Cordts, soprano; Yi-Li Chang, violin; Zarina Irkaeva, viola da gamba; Thomas Bowers, harpsichord.

The interior of Church of the Covenant was redesigned by the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company during the 1890s.

Suggested Donation $10.00.

Yi-Li Chang (violin, viola da gamba, piano), Heidi Freimanis-Cordts (soprano, percussion), Zarina Irkaeva (cello, viola da gamba) will perform folk songs in world languages such as Spanish, French, and Chinese, along with a selection of musical pieces composed by D. Castello, G. Handel, E. Bloch, and Wen-Pin Hope Lee.

Incendium Novum presents a varied program of musical gems from the Italian Baroque; featuring works by Isabella Leonarda, Castello, Scarlatti, and Vivaldi.

The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Charitable Foundation presents an annual series of Music @ Noon concerts: Since 1988, on the second Tuesday of each month from October to May, the free Music at Noon concert series has presented exceptional musicians with a diverse mix of musical styles. Come listen, and bring your lunch!

Journey through the French Baroque with Incendium Novum and special guest mezzo-soprano Liza Zuniga.

Musical selections include Sébastien Le Camus' tender air de cour, Marin Marais' fantastical gamba suites, Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre's gripping cantata Semelé, and François Couperin's sublime duet for Easter.

Admission is $10.00 at the door.

Incendium Novum will be featured on the Sept. Chaminade Music Club Concert.

The Chaminade Music Club of Attleboro was named after Cécile Chaminade(1857-1944), a French pianist and composer of piano pieces and songs. The Club was founded in 1912.

The concerts are free, and the public is welcome! Concerts are followed by a reception.

Come join the choir of Saint Peter's and Baroque ensemble Incendium Novum for an evening of Advent scripture readings in the Anglican tradition, Christmas hymns, and beautiful music in our candlelit sanctuary. The service is free of charge and open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken.

Incendium Novum is delighted to be part of the St. Peter's Concert Series this season.

Our first concert is a varied program of the German Baroque featuring works by Buxtehude, Telemann, and JS Bach; $10 admission at the door.
